Replacement Frame and Prop Guards
A new version of 3D print frame was designed by HOZV (formerly OzAk) inspired by the original replacement design. Design was tested and flown.
Rationale for design:
Feedback is welcomed for improvement.
Here's the step response analysis done using PIDToolBox. Orange is using 4 blade prop, Red is using 5 blade prop. Both provide very decent and stable flights.
Dump made for Betaflight 4.5.1
-All parts were printed in PLA. VTX+XT30+ELRS holder and Camera holder can be tried in TPU or PETG. Materials not available for test.
-The new build was tested using 4S 650mAh CNHL Ministar and 4S GNB LiHV 720mAh. Recommended GNB LiHV 720mAh
-Build is custom, the only original part is the CADDX GOFILM20 frame and Moonlight Camera + VTX.
-Flight time was tested: 4:30 with 4S 650mAh LiPo CNHL Ministar, 5:30 - 6:00 with 4S 720 GNB LiHV . Paradoxally enough, 720mAh is 10-15g lighter also.
